NamedScanPrivacy policy

NamedScan is operated by Joshua Israel Ventures LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information we collect through this website and our AI visibility scans, and how we use it.
Information you give us
When you run a scan or contact us, you send us your name, email address, business name, website, city, state and business category. The scan form sends these details to our scanning service, which runs on Cloudflare. We keep free check requests so Joshua can follow up about your scan. To limit abuse we also keep a one way hash of your email address and of your IP address, which lets us enforce one free check per person without storing your IP address itself.
Information we collect when running a scan
To build your report we read your public website (homepage, robots.txt, llms.txt and sitemap) and, for full reports, collect the answers ChatGPT (OpenAI) gives to customer style questions. The questions we send describe your business category and location. We do not send your personal contact details to OpenAI, and we ask OpenAI not to store the requests. Scan results are cached for 24 hours so repeat scans of the same business are fast, and paid reports are stored so you can open them from your private link.
How we use information
- To run your scan and show or email you the report.
- To reply to your questions and provide any service you sign up for.
- To send occasional updates about your scan or plan. You can ask us to stop at any time.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not set cookies and does not use advertising or analytics trackers. Subscribers' access keys are saved in their own browser storage so they do not need to retype them. The site is hosted on GitHub Pages, and GitHub may collect technical information such as IP addresses in its server logs. See the GitHub privacy statement for details.
Service providers
We use Stripe to handle payments (Stripe processes your card details; we never see or store full card numbers), Cloudflare to run the scanning service and store scan records, OpenAI to collect AI answers during full scans, and an email provider to send report links to paying customers.
How long we keep information
We keep scan requests and reports for as long as needed to provide the service and track changes over time, and delete them on request unless we must keep them for legal or accounting reasons.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information by emailing joshuaofisrael@gmail.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor them.
Children
NamedScan is a business service and is not directed at children under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the effective date above.
